A simple trick to block any website.
***************************************
Click on:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad (NOT Wordpad) > File > Open...
navigate to:
Local Disk (C:) > WINDOWS > system32> drivers > etc
from 'Files of Type' select 'All Files', double-click on hosts
under the entry: '127.0.0.1 localhost' leave a line, then type in:
127.0.0.1 "name of site you want to block."
For example:-
127.0.0.1 news.bbc.co.uk
Click on: File > Save, close Notepad
and DONE !!
to unblock, remove the line.
I think its helpful for parents.
